Official pages rechecked 2 November 2026. Prices and policies are dated observations; unresolved details and booking-specific conditions are qualified below.

Hilton Reykjavik Nordica is the hotel at Sudurlandsbraut 2,108 Reykjavik. Hilton's current official property pages use the shorter name Hilton Reykjavik and redirect the Nordica URL to that name. This guide keeps the established Nordica identity for the same address; it is not a second hotel or a different branch.

The hotel-information page lists free Wi-Fi, a fitness center, a spa, meeting rooms and an executive lounge. A listed amenity does not establish that every service is included in every room rate. In particular, check spa admission, breakfast and lounge entitlement on the rate and room you select.

The freshly rendered room page exposes named categories, capacities and selected features; see the comparison below. Room sizes and detailed bedding arrangements were not established for every category. Select for the actual party size and confirm any cot, extra bed or accessible-room requirements before paying.

Location: city hotel versus airport accommodation

The property is in Reykjavik and publishes nearby distances of approximately 1 km to the Botanical Gardens/Laugardalur, 2 km to Perlan and 3 km to Hallgrimskirkja. Its overview's ten-minute airport drive refers to Reykjavik Airport, the city's domestic airport. It must not be read as a ten-minute transfer to Keflavik International Airport.

Check your flight's airport code and arrange the correct transfer. We have not verified a complimentary airport shuttle and do not imply one. For a rental-car stay, free on-site parking may be useful, but the hotel lists no covered or secured parking and no valet service. A space should not be assumed reserved merely because parking is complimentary.

Families and room arrangements

The detailed hotel-information page lists cribs and a children's menu. It says childcare and confirmed connecting rooms are not available. Do not assume supervised childcare is provided. A connecting room is nevertheless named in the room catalogue, so clarify the exact reservable product rather than relying on an amenity label.

Request the necessary sleeping arrangement explicitly. Adjacent rooms are not the same as connecting rooms, and a room described for two adults does not automatically accommodate children without an occupancy check. The published family-experience material is an invitation to discuss needs, not a universal free-child, extra-bed or meal entitlement.

Breakfast and dining

The dining page describes a brasserie/bar offering Icelandic and Scandinavian cooking, plus a lobby bar for light refreshments. Buffet breakfast is listed for a fee. The page shows 07:00-10:00 as its usual breakfast window but retains an earlier-opening exception dated 2024. Do not apply that old summer exception to 2026 or a future stay without confirmation.

Room service, a 24-hour market, executive lounge and children's menu are listed dining amenities. Ask about service hours, menu and dietary arrangements for your date. Executive-lounge access depends on the room/rate or applicable benefits; this guide does not promise it to every guest or rely on old loyalty-program anecdotes.

Spa: separate age, hours and cancellation rules

DayPublished spa hours
Monday-Friday06:00-20:00
Saturday09:00-18:00
Sunday09:00-17:00

Spa guests must be at least sixteen according to the dedicated page. The spa asks for arrival fifteen minutes before a service and recommends advance reservations. Treatment cancellations/rescheduling require 24 hours' notice to avoid the full charge. This is the spa policy, not the cancellation rule for your hotel room.

The spa page lists massages and body treatments and gives its own contact, +354 510 5190 and hilton@reykjavikspa.is. Ask whether your booking includes facility entry and whether a treatment reservation changes that. Having a spa inside the hotel does not establish free access or a swimming pool.

Rate selection and arrival planning

Compare the final room quote for your dates, party size, taxes, breakfast and cancellation terms. The expanded cancellation panel says the applicable rule varies with the rate and dates and must be checked in the reservation confirmation. We do not invent a universal free-cancellation deadline or nightly price.

If arriving before 15:00 or leaving after 11:00, request early check-in/late checkout directly. Published standard times do not guarantee those requests. For an overnight flight, decide whether you need a room guaranteed on arrival rather than assuming a morning check-in will be granted.

The property publishes hilton@islandshotel.is for hotel contact. Keep the room confirmation separate from spa appointments and transfer reservations, so changes to one do not silently leave the others unaltered.

Frequently asked questions

Is Hilton Reykjavik the same as Nordica?

The official Nordica URL now redirects to Hilton Reykjavik at the same Sudurlandsbraut 2 address. This listing preserves that property identity.

Is it ten minutes from Keflavik Airport?

No such claim is verified. The overview's ten-minute statement refers to Reykjavik Airport; plan international-airport transport separately.

Is breakfast always free?

The hotel lists buffet breakfast for a fee. Your specific room rate or benefit may differ; confirm it in writing.

Can children use the spa?

The dedicated spa policy sets a minimum age of sixteen.

Are connecting rooms guaranteed?

The information panel says confirmed connecting rooms are not available, while a connecting room product is named in the room catalogue. Obtain confirmation of the actual product rather than assuming a request guarantees it.

Fresh official-source review: November 2

Nimble's automated property requests were blocked, so this refresh used actual official pages rendered in the existing browser session. Hotel information, rooms, dining, the cancellation panel, accessibility features and spa policies were reviewed through that fallback. This is fresh browser verification, not a successful Nimble property crawl. Existing credits and the original information graphic are retained.

The room page also names a Family Connecting Room with Scenic View, while the hotel-information panel says confirmed connecting rooms are not available. This is a real cross-page distinction to clarify when booking: choose a specifically confirmed room product and do not assume a general connecting request is guaranteed. No date-specific room price or availability from the browser session is presented here as an evergreen fact. Official rooms

Accessibility requires a specific discussion

The official accessibility panel lists accessible elevators, an accessible exercise facility and meeting rooms, grab bars, visual alarms and rooms accessible by request. It also marks the accessible public entrance, accessible restaurant, accessible parking and several entrance-to-facility routes as not available. Those statements do not support a blanket wheelchair-accessible label. Ask the front desk to explain the actual entrance, route and room arrangement appropriate to your needs before booking; a room-by-request label alone does not establish a usable arrival route. Hotel information and accessibility panel

The expanded cancellation panel explicitly says cancellation depends on the reservation's rate and dates and directs guests to their confirmation. The spa independently requires at least age 16, arrival 15 minutes before treatment and 24 hours' cancellation or rescheduling notice to avoid the full charge. These are separate policies.
